Note from Sean: always remember liquid flows downwards with gravity. It does not magically suspend itself in midair.
Also, having to mop up water from underneath and behind a fish tank stand really sucks and does not make your significant other happy with you.

Can you add a title to this. BTW, I understand the karma of the sig-other and having to clean up. Amazing what a bottle of Acetone will do to vinyl flooring in the kitchen. And, can you imagine what some Clorox bleach does to the previously dark-green floor mat in the bathroom. Even if your intentions were good -- to remove mold and mildew from the shower stall. But, on the bright side, sometimes these events are never, ever forgotten.
